Timberline Resort

Timberline Resort in West Virginia has long been a favorite among skiers in the southeast for a variety of reasons. This West Virginia Ski Resort receives an average of 150 inches of snow per winter season and has consistently grown with each WV Ski season for the past three years. Each season they purchase more snow guns, and have recently added two new powerful turbine pumps which add to the resort’s water pumping capacity, creating more snow than ever! Skiers love the more than 36 trails which feature a terrain suited for everyone. Beginners love the wide, low grade slopes like the Salamander Trail, and experienced skiers and snowboarders enjoy the moguls, bumps, and steep terrains of the black diamonds. After large snowfalls, visitors to Timberline Resort in WV can enjoy cross country skiing as well as the countryside is perfect and creates miles and miles of trails. Snowboarders find the two terrain parks to be especially exciting with 30 to 50 foot jumps and numerous great hits and rails. Night skiing is available Thursday through Sundays on a few of the main ski trails.
